FlightPath Home

Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the FlightPath Home iOS app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use FlightPath Home on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies to this app except where these terms are more permissive.

What the app is — and is not

FlightPath Home is a screening tool. Track-event counts and barometric pressure-altitude inputs come from retained recorded flight tracks. Loudness, closest approach, and the 0–100 score are modeled estimates, not on-site measurements.

Coverage is limited and can be incomplete: retained data covers selected U.S. metro areas and a rolling window of recent days, and recorded coverage of any given flight depends on receivers we do not operate.

Nothing in the app is professional real-estate, legal, financial, health, or environmental advice, and it is not an environmental noise assessment. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a purchase, an offer, a valuation, or any legal or regulatory filing.

Subscriptions

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple as well. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are happy to help you with the process — write to us and we will point you the right way.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the app, scrape or bulk-extract our service, circumvent request limits, or resell access to the service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.

Flight data and attribution

Retained and live flight data are © adsb.lol contributors and used under the Open Database License 1.0. Reports and API results are Produced Works computed from that data. Our data license and transformation notice describes the transformations and offers the machine-readable rebuild bundle. Weather observations come from the U.S. National Weather Service. Aircraft technical categories may use a minimized FAA-derived lookup. Address, geocoding, and map services are provided by Apple.

Intellectual property

The app, its text, artwork, code, scoring method, and derived databases belong to us, except for third-party data used under the licences described above.

Service availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and coverage may expand or contract as upstream data sources change. Reports depend on a backend service that can be unavailable.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it, including any decision made about a property. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
