Telling us the address or metro area you were checking, and roughly when, makes a report far easier to reproduce.

Common questions

Where does the data come from?

Reports summarize retained recorded ADS-B track events from up to 20 recent covered days (© adsb.lol contributors, ODbL). Sound values are modeled estimates, not on-site measurements, and source or geographic coverage can be incomplete. Where a feature shows current weather, observations come from the National Weather Service. Read the data license and transformation notice.

Why does a report say "not covered"?

We currently cover major U.S. metro areas around large and medium airports; coverage grows over time. When an address falls outside retained coverage the app says so rather than generating a score from data it does not have.

Why is the score different from what I hear standing there?

The score is a screening estimate modeled from recorded flight tracks — altitude, distance, aircraft type, and how often aircraft pass. It cannot account for terrain, insulation, road noise, or a single unusually loud departure. Use it to compare addresses and to know what to listen for, not as a substitute for visiting at the hours that matter to you.

How do I manage my subscription?

FlightPath Pro is billed by Apple — manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. Email us if you would like help with the process.

Do you have my address history?

No. Saved homes and recent searches live only on your device. See the privacy policy for exactly what a request sends and how long it is held.
